School Improvement

The school improvement plan assesses the school's strengths and weaknesses, implements strategies and activities to address the school's needs, and continually evaluates the school's progress toward achieving its objectives and meeting its goals. The plan focuses on improving student achievement at the school by addressing state goals and performance standards.

Exxon/Mobil Educational Alliance Program

McKinley Middle Magnet received a $500 grant from the Exxon/Mobil Educational Alliance Program. Thank you to the CORS Exxon/Mobil Station! The money will be used to purchase a series of Project Wisdom. The program is designed to provide station managers with an opportunity to invest in the future of their community through educational grants to their neighborhood schools.

Volunteer

All volunteers sign in the volunteer book in front office.

Mustang (Parent) Patrol - Ms. Dotson needs help with car pool line 6:45 - 7:15 a.m. and 2:10 - 2:45 p.m. Sign in on volunteer book in front office and report to Ms. Dotson.

Big break begins September 4. Mustang patrol is requested to monitor students from lunchroom, courtyard to classrooms. Mustang Patrol welcome any day, any time. perfect opportunity to see the school and help out. Come for a class change or big break.

Library: Help in the library handling books and manning the desk.

Please Donate: Educational DVDs, Artificial plants, Decor Items to the library.

Please take pictures at your child's events and send them with the names of the pictured children and one line of description to or Belinda Burleigh (belindaf3235@hotmail.com) for posting on the web site. All photos will also be submitted to the yearbook committee for consideration.
