The Model United Nations Club will offer students an opportunity to gain substantive knowledge about the cultures, policies and countries that they will represent.  The Model UN process encourages students to learn the skills of compromise, negotiation, and consensus building.  Members of the club will research and write proposals for their assigned country.  The YMCA will also be involved in planning activities for participants in this club.
