International & National Travel: The students have traveled to Rome, Greece, London, Paris, Spain & Beijing, China. This school year, the students will travel to Florence, Venice, & Rome, Italy. National Travel included Washington, D.C., New York, Orlando, Atlanta, and Houston.

NEW GRADING SCALE
The new grading scale that the state of Louisiana adopted is as follows:
The YMCA is sponsoring an extended day/afterschool camp at
McKinley Middle.The afterschool
camp times are 2:30pm – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday.The cost is $45 weekly (members) and $50
weekly (non-members).This camp is
educational and will focus on assisting students with their homework.It will also provide snacks.Contact the YMCA Baranco Clark to sign
up.

MMAMS is excited to announce the start-up of our very own Parent Teacher Organization for the 2012-13 School Year! Our school’s enrollment and programs are growing tremendously, and we need our parents to be intimately involved in supporting the various dynamics of the school.
